Churches of the World

Churches represent more than just the faith and beliefs of their congregation.  A powerful, spiritual influence, the emotional connection between a person and their place of worship is a timeless bond.  Combine this with magnificent architectural designs and it's no wonder why many of the world's most significant architectural achievements are churches and cathedrals.

Department 56 has crafted renditions of some of these spectacular structures in their Churches of the World Series.  From Gothic and Baroque to Romanesque or Byzantine, each one is faithful to the sacred church they represent.
